Getting to Know
Thank you for your presence and allowing me the space to share with you. My name is Lindsay Donovan Davies. I am a photographer, artist, writer, outdoor adventurer and yogi residing in Revelstoke, BC. I was born in Calgary, AB but having spent ample time growing up in Invermere, BC I resonate as a BC girl at heart. Growing up with an active family that loved to travel, this fostered a love for adventure, the outdoors and the mountains from a young age.
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing." ~ Albert Einstein
I am working on providing an online print store, expanding products and writing a book. Having sustained a chronic whiplash injury and had post concussion syndrome for years this injury has created a new way of operating. If you experience a delay in response, please don't hesitate to call. I do my best, but the reality is my brain is not what it used to be and I am still finding systems to best sustain operations.
If you want to connect and find more about my story, you can find me on Instagram @lindsaydonovan and @lightmatterperspective I look forward to gradually sharing more as ability permits. If you or a loved one is going through a head/neck injury please don't hesitate to reach out.
“Take hold of your own life. See that the whole existence is celebrating. These trees are not serious, these birds are not serious. The rivers and the oceans are wild, and everywhere there is fun, everywhere there is joy and delight. Watch existence, listen to the existence and become part of it.” ~ Osho
PASSIONS & SIMPLE PLEASURES
I love snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, adventures, reading, painting/drawing, cats, sloths, and traveling (in no particular order). Watching the sunrise or the moon set, dancing under the stars (or anywhere for that matter), and heart to heart conversations. Meditation, yoga, the ocean or any body of water, summiting mountains (and descending them - preferably on a plank or two wheels), quiet moments by the fireside, the sound of rain on a tin roof, big fluffy white snow flakes, and drinking a yummy cup of masala chai.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” ~ Albert Einstein
